Gradient Blankets to keep you warm and cozy

Finally finished the gradient Chevron blankets I started months ago. I made each one in 3 panels then crocheted them together with a contrasting colour. This made it easier and lighter to make especially if you have arthritis or other issues with your hands or arms. The top and bottom panels are the same with the center one a bit different to add interest and make each one unique.

I made my first chevron blanket last year and enjoyed the simplicity and easy to make pattern. The perfect project to make while curled up on the couch watching your favourite movie.

The yarn I used was Tough Love Sock yarn by SweetGeorgia Yarns. I chose 4 colours for each and it took 5 plus some skeins to make a nice lap size blanket. I loved working a gradient effect. I want to make a Christmas theme blanket next. Off this to check out some patterns to try. Sometimes I like to take a break from designing and enjoy making something with someone else’s beautiful pattern.
