The Elegant Lace Neck Warmer scarf features an elegant lace design with a modern essence in the ribbed stripe accent. Cozy up your day with a touch of lace designed to keep you warm with style. Designed with sock/fingerling weight yarn so you can wear it in most seasons. The scarf can also be made in a solid colour, multiple colours on each row, two toned colours, hand painted yarns or a solid coloured yarn to suit your wardrobe and style. Perfect in a merino wool or other cozy yarns for the fall and winter or make it in a silk or linen yarn for the cool spring and summer days adding an elegant touch to your wardrobe.
Easy to crochet design perfect to make in a weekend. Great for gifts or just for yourself.
Finished Measurements:
Approximate measurements with finishing trim at longest part of the scarf: 20 inches, 50.8 cm wide by 6 inches, 15.25 cm high.
YARN: You can use most sock weight/fingerling weight yarns for this scarf.
Yarn needed: 1 skein for the base of the scarf (425 yd / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g per skein). One skein makes 1 scarf shown here with enough yarn left over to make 1 Elegant Lace hand warmer set. Shown in Tough Love Sock from SweetGeorgia Yarns in the Snowfall (gray) colour way and the Bubble Wand (ivory speckled) colour. HOOKS & NOTIONS
B -1 US / 2 – 2.25 mm crochet hook. Yarn needle to sew in ends. Three Buttons ¾ inch, 19 mm circumference.
GAUGE
Gauge is 5.5 sts and 4 rows in pattern using hdc = 1” / 2.5 cm. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge

Originally designing knitted pieces and knitting patterns she now designs mostly in crochet. Valerie ventured into the world of fibre art in 2012, creating pieces with an art and design essence.
