Stop and smell the roses is a wonderful saying to remind us to slow down and enjoy the moments and the world around us. One of my favourite places to be is walking in nature or a garden surrounded by flowers, plants and birds singing in the background in perfect song. I love designing with roses as they are one of my favourite flowers and they are also a tribute to my mother as she also loved flowers and especially roses. You will see them often in my designs to remind us all to stop and take time to enjoy each moment.
Each year I select a special collection of flowers to bring into my backyard. Days spent enjoying the beautiful blooms while crocheting on my deck, inspired by what is around me.
That is why each season I design a series of new scarves for you to enjoy making in the hopes that each one of you will experience the same sense of joy, peace and contentment that I do on those soft summer days.
