Here are some of my recent tapestry adventures:

My most recent tapestry weaving project was a free form weave as you go and see what happens project. The goal was to use colour mixing and some variegated yarns to inspire me. I call this one Aurora Borealis. The design starts with colours of stones that evolves into trees. The dark midnight sky with the beautiful aurora borealis dancing above to finish the design. I then added a few rows of stone colours again to frame the design. Such an enjoyable design to make. The last photo shows the other ocean inspired design I made on the same warp. So much to learn with tapestry weaving but oh so enjoyable.

I began tapestry weaving last summer and really love this expressive weaving experience. I will be adding more of my tapestry weaving adventures soon.
