Every home needs a gnome was the inspiration for this recent tapestry crochet adventure. I love gnomes, they are a great way to add a whimsical touch to your decor or garden. When I saw this crochet pattern, I was immediately drawn to making it.
The Christmas Gnome Pillow pattern is by A Modern Stitch on Etsy. The pattern is very well written, easy to follow and includes a chart. I really enjoyed making the pillow. It is a gift for someone who moved to a new home and I felt they too need a gnome for their home. Making the Christmas Gnome Pillow was so enjoyable I will be making myself one soon with more all season colours because my home also needs more gnomes.
Tapestry crochet is a wonderful technique for making pictures and fairisle patterns with crochet. Working with colours is always so inviting and enjoyable.
