Designed using sock/fingering weight yarn (pink scarf) or 2 strands of lace weight yarn (purple scarf). This shawl/scarf is perfect for any time of the year by changing the fibers used from merino wool, kid mohair, alpaca and other warmer fibers for the fall and winter to lighter fibers like cotton, silk, linen etc. for spring and summer. A very versatile shawl/scarf design that you will wear for years to come. The Touch of Lace Shawl/Scarf can be made in any colour combination including neutrals, bright and bold or soft pastels. Can be worn as a scarf or a shawl. This will be a favourite scarf/shawl to wear for years to come. Great pattern for all kinds of fibers from wool, acrylic, cottons and more. Yarn: You can use most Fingerling/Sock weight yarns single stranded or lace weight yarn double stranded for this scarf. You need approximately 740 yds/677 m if you are using sock/fingering weight yarn to make this scarf. You need approximately 1465 yds/1340 m if you are using 2 strands of lace weight yarn to make this scarf.
