ADVENT CALENDAR UPDATE

The Sweetgeorgia Yarns Advent Calendar 2021 update on my progress:

I chose to make the crochet pattern as my Advent project this year. They gave you 3 choices, 2 knitting patterns and a crochet pattern to choose from. Everyday you get a little gift of yarn or other knitting or crochet items to open for the project. I love opening these wonderful little surprises and look forward each day for the next one. This makes the project very enjoyable.

The yarns included are so luxurious with beautiful a cashmere merino blend and a touch of sparkle on many of the colours seen. You can see these yarns on their website here: (yarns used are the Cashluxe Fine on with the dark gray and all the colours are Cashluxe Spark).

The pattern is really enjoyable and has several options to make it your personal style. I love the colour changes with the gradient effect so far. I can’t wait to see what colours are next. I am so happy they made a crochet pattern this year.

I will post more about my progress soon. I have also been busy making Christmas Decorations for our tree with beautiful crochet patterns I found. Off to make more Christmas inspired items, see you soon.

SWEETGEORGIA YARNS ADVENT CALENDAR 2021 – CROCHET!

I love the day I receive my Sweetgeorgia Yarns Christmas Advent Calendar especially this year as they have added a crochet pattern to the advent calendar. I am very excited to work on this project as crochet is my passion and this is the first year they have included a crochet pattern as one of the options to make.

In this years advent calendar they have included 2 different knitting patterns and 1 crochet pattern that you can choose from. You don’t get to see the finished project until you finish making it which adds a bit of mystery to the advent calendar. It’s a surprise every day as you open the gift wrapped yarn which is numbered according to the day it is to be used.

I love that they wrapped each gift in beautiful paper to add another element of surprise to each day. I have been buying their advent calendars each year and look forward to making the special designs as part of my Christmas creative moments. I will post various updates along the way of my progress as I open each beautiful wrapped gift of yarn and follow the advent calendar to achieve the surprise item at the end of the journey. I can’t wait to start on December 1st!
