Elegant Lace Hand Warmer Crochet Pattern

The Elegant Lace Hand Warmers features an elegant lace design with a modern essence in the ribbed stripe accent on the wrist area of the hand warmers. Lovely lace design to keep your hands cozy and warm with an elegant lace design. Two sizes are available including a regular length and a longer length. Designed with sock/fingerling weight yarn so you can wear it in most seasons. The hand warmers can also be made in a solid colour, multiple colours on each row, two toned colours, hand painted yarns or a solid coloured yarn to suit your wardrobe and style.

Easy to crochet design perfect to make in a weekend. Great for gifts or just for yourself.

Shown in Tough Love Sock from SweetGeorgia Yarns in the Snowfall (gray) colour way and the Bubble Wand (ivory speckled) colour. Other great sock yarns are Malabrigo Sock yarn, Cascade Heritage yarn, Paintbox Yarns Sock, Berroco Sock, Noro Silk Garden sock and many other sock or fingerling weight yarns.

Finished Measurements:
Measurements with finishing trim: The width is 7 inches around, 17.75 cm for both sizes. The length is 7.25 inches, 18.4 cm for the regular length and 8.25 inches, 21 cm for the longer length.

YARN: You can use most sock weight/fingerling weight yarns for this scarf.
Yarn needed: 1 skein of the base colour (425 yd / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g per skein). One skein makes 2 hand warmers or 1 hand warmer and 1 Elegant Lace Scarf (Neck Warmer style) available on my Etsy store and Ravelry. Shown in Tough Love Sock from SweetGeorgia Yarns.

HOOKS & NOTIONS
B -1 US / 2 – 2.25 mm crochet hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE
Gauge is 5.5 sts and 4 rows in hdc = 1” / 2.5 cm.

Valerie has been designing and creating knitwear for various boutiques and galleries, as well as pattern writing for over 25 years. Originally designing knitted pieces and knitting patterns she now designs mostly in crochet. Valerie ventured into the world of fibre art in 2012, creating pieces with an art and design essence.
